Dr Rasha Cosman

Picture
Rasha Cosman obtained her primary medical qualification from the University of New South Wales in 2000, and commenced training in medical oncology at Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick shortly thereafter.  During her postgraduate specialist training she gained experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of breast, ovarian, lung, upper gastrointestinal, colorectal, uro-genital, head and neck, and neurological cancer.

Recognizing the importance of the role that research has in oncology, she completed a research fellowship at the National Health and Medical Research Council Clinical Trials Centre, working closely with the Australasian Lung Cancer Trials Group (ALTG) and the Cooperative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology (COGNO).

Now, Dr Cosman is focused on her clinical role, caring for oncology patients, and advocating the multidisciplinary nature of that care and the individualised, holistic approach required to optimise it.  In addition, she remains passionately involved in designing and running clinical trials to improve the care available to cancer patients.  Rasha has a strong passion for education and the future of medicine.

Patients first. Excellence always.
